Well, I can’t believe it but we’ve started our 5th year of business in July. It’s been fun, frustrating and a fabulous learning experience. We made significant improvements in our services over these years. We started with offering free delivery on all print jobs.  Added variable data printing (VDP) so if you want a printed piece go to a specific person we can do that for you, and we can also mail it!  Yes that’s right we now offer mail services for our customers, so if you have a newsletter, appeal campaign or want to send out your annual reports we can do that for you. We handle everything from printing the document, to stuffing it in the envelopes or tabbing and bringing it right to the post office for mailing with our postal permits.

Color of the Year

On December 20, 2011, in Uncategorized, by The Landrigan's

Color of the Year 2012 is Tangerine Tango

Pantone, LLC, provider of professional color standards for the design and printing industries recently announced PANTONE 17-1463 TANGERINE TANGO as the color of the year 2012.

The 2011 color of the year, Honeysuckle, encouraged us to face everyday troubles with verve and vigor.  Tangerine Tango, a spirited reddish orange, provides the energy boost we need to recharge and move forward.

“Sophisticated but at the same time dramatic and seductive, Tangerine Tango is an orange with a lot of depth to it”, said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute.  “reminiscent of the radiant shadings of a sunset, Tangerine Tango marries the vivaciousness and adrenaline rush of red with the friendliness and warmth of yellow, to form a high-visibility, magnetic hue that emanates heat and energy.”

Stop by our new location at 74 Black Mountain Road, Brattleboro to check out the Color of the Year and discuss how we may help you with your next printing project.  Whether you incorporate Tangerine Tango or not, we can help produce vibrant colors and high quality images on our state-of-the-art digital printers (including wide-format) and our offset presses.

On December 9, 2011, in Uncategorized, by The Landrigan's

We’ve moved,!

After our second episode with water damage in the month of September, we decided that we should move to higher ground.  Our landlord was kind enough to offer us one of their other properties at 74 Black Mountain Rd., located next to Comcast in the old Spiral Shop location.    In the move we’ve added a few new pieces of equipment – a truly spectacular digital system that allows us to print at 1200dpi.  The images will amaze you.   Additionally, we’ve added a computer to plate system that will improve our ability to get on press faster.  We thank you for your business and hope you’ll stop by our new location for a visit.

We offer solutions to all of your printing needs from banners to business cards.   For a list of our services please go to www.minutemanvt.com.

Make your business cards standout in a crowd

On January 17, 2011, in Uncategorized, by The Landrigan's

Take out the business cards that you’ve collected over the past few months, and include your own. You’ll notice that they’re all eerily similar. Lately, there have been a few that go against the common rectangular shape and size. If you have one of those among the cards you’ve collected, your eye will more than likely go to the unique card. Here are a few ideas on how to spice up your business card and make it memorable.

Put a face to the name.
Adding your photo to your business card makes it stand out, and there are benefits to this. Especially at events where you receive a lot of cards, you’ll get home and can’t remember who all these people are. Providing a photo ensures people won’t forget you and it gives your card a personality.

Out with the white. In with the bright.
If you’re holding ten business cards and nine are white and one is a different color, which one will you notice? So why would you make your business card so that is in the nine that aren’t noticed? Choose an interesting color that compliments your company’s brand and see how people respond to the difference.

Shape matters.
It used to be that the standard business card size was important because people would file them in their Rolodex. Today, there is no rule for what shape your business card must be. Circles, triangles, and squares are all ways to get away from the standard shape. Consider a shape that ties your card to your business or shows your personality.

There are many ways that your business card can stand out. As you think of unique ways to improve your business card, be sure you don’t stray from your company’s brand. The more interesting, the more people will want your business card. Your cards may just get passed on to their friends and that should equal more business.  Give us a call or stop by and well show you some new ideas to help you standout.
